With each new litter of great Dane puppies it amazes me that in a 24 hour period the emotions experienced flow fast and continually changing with each moment during the process.

Anticipation, joy, relief, excitement, uncertainty, fear, sorrow, grief, thankfulness, contentment, extreme exhaustion, all flow through both of us....momma and myself. When our task is complete, we look at each other knowing that we did the best that we could do. Then, beside each other we rest listening to those tiny growns and slurps. Together we are joyous to begin our next task of preparing these wee ones to go out to their new families to fulfill their destiny.
